Your GoPro is great in the cockpit, but to capture the entire story, you need the audio from your headset, intercom, and radio. This cable makes that possible while also allowing you to power your GoPro indefinitely.

Use this cable to connect your GoPro Hero8, Hero7 Black, Hero6, Hero5, or Hero5 Session to your intercom. Plug one end into the side of the GoPro and the other into a standard PJ jack. The GoPro will record everything you hear and say through the headset, including intercom and ATC communications. Record indefinitely by plugging a USB battery pack into the power input.

Note: Due to the design of the GoPro, using aircraft power will not work. For Fixed-Wing.

Will this work with a gopro 7 black?

Yes, this will work with the Hero7 Black. It will not work with the Hero7 White or Hero7 Silver, as those GoPros do not accept external audio input.

Does this allow connection of external power as the title implies?

Correct, there is a USB-C port for aux power. Simply plug your GoPro's USB-C power cable into the mic adapter and attach the other end to a USB battery pack. Do not attach your power cable to aircraft power, as it will degrade the audio recording.

Does this work with the GoPro Hero 8 black?

Yes, this will work with the hero8 Black.
