Can I wet sand the final coat and how long should I wait after painting to do so? I am assuming working through 400 grit up to about 1200?

Per Poly Fiber: Aerothane can be wet sanded and polished after the paint has been cured 7 days at 70*F. Longer if the temp is below 70*. They recommend starting at 1500, then 2000, then 2500 grit paper. Use 3M rubbing compound, 3M Swirl Remover, then 3M Glze 100% Carnuba wax to increase the shine.

Can clear aerothane be applied over colored poly Tone?

No. It is not recommended by the manufacturer.

Is the catalyst required for the Poly-Fiber Aerothane included in the listed price/gal?

Yes, catalyst is require. Yes, catalyst is included in the kit for the Poly-Fiber Aerothane. If you do not require catalyst, please contact our sales department to set up the order without catalyst.

How quickly can I spray Aerothane over the epoxy primer? Does the epoxy have to be fully cured or can I spray as soon as the epoxy is tack free??

Per the manual, the EP420 primer should dry 6-8 hours before applying a color coat.
