These fine quality switches are being used in many aircraft. The switch housing is now machined from billet aluminum which makes this switch 25% lighter. They provide “ON” and “OFF” electrical control of broth magnetos on single engine aircraft. The key-operated switches mount from the rear of the panel in a 7/8” dia. hole. Available with or without starter position.

Experimental aircraft only or 337 Form required for Production aircraft.

Without Starter Position., Supplied with switch plate & 2 keys. (diode not required) A-510-5.

Is this switch rated for 25 volts or more?

Per the manufacturer: No, this ignition switch, part number 11-03169 is only rated for 14V systems.

What kind and size of screws are used on the terminals? My switch did not come with any.

The screws are packaged in the same bag as the keys. Please check the bag, and if they are not there please contact our customer service department and they will ask the supplier to send them to you.

When in the L position , R position or the Both position does that make the switch internal connection go to the ground terminal?

In the L position, the R terminal is ground and vice versa. Then the both position, neither are grounded.

Is this ACS KEYED IGNITION SWITCH A-510-5 FAA PMA Approved?

No, this switch is not FAA PMA Approved.
