GULFSTREAM 200 MARQUIS JET MODEL

The Gulfstream 200 is a twin-engine business jet. It is capable of flying 3,620 nautical miles at speeds of up to .82 Mach, and can cruise at altitudes of up to 41,000 feet. It was designed originally by Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI) and is produced for Gulfstream Aerospace. The G200 was originally named "Astra Galaxy". The Galaxy's first flight occurred on December 25, 1997. In December 1998 the Galaxy was certified by the American and Israeli aviation agencies. The Galaxy was renamed "G200" following Gulfstream Aerospace acquiring Galaxy Aerospace in June 2001.
