I have had many Lightspeeds over the years, I have a ZULU 1 now and it has performed great. My question is, is there any difference in the noise cancelling of the 3 compared to the 1? See you at S-n-Fun Bob Stebbins

Yes, the noise cancellation capability did improve slightlyu from the Zulu 1 to the Zulu 2. The Zulu 3 has the same noise cancellation capability as the Zulu.2, however the improved ear seals on the Zulu 3 will provide a better fit and seal.

Can the mic boom on the Lightspeed Zulu 3 Headset be changed to the other side?

No, the boom mic cannot be swiveled all the way around. The boom mic will be on the left side of the head.

Do you offer a trade in discount for a old set of Lightspeed headset?

Are the seals one size fits all for Zulu 1, 2, & 3 ?

Yes, the ear seals part # 11-08043 will fit all 3 generations of the Lightspeed Zulu 3 headset.

I have two of the Lightspeed 30 3G panel power by LEMO connector headsets in my RV-9A. Can I get two Zulu 3’s with the same panel power setup?

Yes, the part number for the 6pin Lemo version of the Zulu 3 is Part# 11-14870.

Can the ear pieces on the Zulu 3 be folded inward for storage which I believe they can on the previous models (or so they would appear from the photos of the previous Zulu)

No. The ear pieces twist sideways for storage but they do not fold inwards.

Lightspeed Zulu 3 LEMO, if this headset with LEMO plug has also posibility to power from batteries? In my plane i have LEMOs, but if i want to take headset to plane without LEMO and connect them thru GA-LEMO adaptor, i need to power them by AA batteries.

Yes, that is correct. If you use a LEMO Zulu 3 in a dual GA aircraft with an adapter, you would need batteries to power the ANR.
