The Rock Steady GoPro style ball mount is the durable and versatile low profile design that you have been looking for. This quality all metal mount will not move, bend, or fail, unlike plastic mounts.

The metal GoPro adapter is compatible with any GoPro style camera. This unique Gopro adapter allows over 180 degrees of adjustment unlike most GoPro fork tripod adapters. The knuckle clamp attaches to any Rock Steady base allowing 360 degrees of adjustment. The knuckle locks your camera into any position with a hex wrench, or by hand with an included T-handle screw. Buy multiple Rock Steady bases to add numerous quick change mounting locations at an affordable price. Compatible with GoPro, Hero 2, Hero 3 & 3+, Hero 4, Hero 5 and Garmin Virb X and Virb XE or any Go Pro style camera.

The Rock Steady Universal Strut Base is a quality all metal machined aluminum base. The strut base fits any size aircraft spreader bar, bi-plane strut, or wing strut from a J-3 to a Caravan. The simple clean design straps firmly to your wing strut without using bulky blocks or bolts. The Rubber Strap Kit uses a 19″ universal rubber strap that fits most any strut. With adjustment holes every 1.25 inches, you simply start on a hole that gives you just enough strap to reach around the strut and tighten on the end. The temporary strap allows your camera mount to be quickly taken on and off any strut.

FAA friendly temporary.

Вопросы и ответы
How does this mount exactly? Do you need a screwdriver to screw the screw through a hole on the strap? Can I easily move this from plane to plane? Also, will this work with a gopro max camera?

We have added a video which shows how this item is mounted. It is secured on the strut and then the disconnect is via ball mount. It would be easier to have it installed on the strut on both aircraft and then just move the camera from plane to plane rather than remount each time.
