RAM AIR PRESSURE CAP

Regarding the RAM Air Pressure Cap: What size? What thread? Male thread? Female thread?

Per the supplier: This cap doesn't have threads. It goes over the filler neck and there are two tabs on the inside of the cap that when you turn it, it locks to the filler neck slots. The outside diameter of the cap is 2-1/2" . It's the same as the E-482-000 but this one has a tube in the middle that sticks out.

What size is the tube OD on cap 05-08077?

OD is approx 1/4".

What type of screw lock does the bottom have? My plane uses automotive quick-on caps.

What is the overall length of the vent tube and can this tube bent at a 90 degree angle to make it a forward facing ram air fuel cap?

The vent tube is 4" in length and is metal, preventing it being bent at a 90 degree angle without modifying the device.

What is the part # or size of the gasket for this cap? Does this cap come with a gasket?

It does come with a gasket but the vendor does not have a part number for the gasket. It is a fairly common sized fuel cap and the Cessna style gasket would work for a replacement (06-00987)
