A formulation of polyester resin, talcs and Microspheres used as a lightweight filler on metal and fiberglass. Works easily, sands faster. Only 7.5 lbs. per gallon as compared to 12 lbs. per gallon for conventional fillers.

Can Dynalite 494 be used on aircraft?

Yes, Dynalite is commonly used in various aspects of construction of experimental aircraft. It cannot be used on certified aircraft. Please consult with another builder if you have questions on whether the material is suitable for your application.

What color is the cured Dynalite filler material? I need black.

This will be the color gray. We do offer PTM&W brand filler in black. Quart is p/n 09-04569 and gallon is p/n 09-04571
