Before I order I want to be certain this is what I think it is. Question: Is this fuel dip stick for a PA-28? Specifically, will it be accurate for my Cherokee 140?

This is the fuel level indicator for the PA-28 Cherokee. As long as the tank capacity is 25 gallons, it will work correctly.

Are these direct fuel level indicators for the Piper PA-28 marked in US gallons and/or litres?

These are marked in gallons only.

Are the gallons marked on the tube as well as on the aluminium scale?

No, the gallons are only marked on the aluminum scale.

Is this direct fuel level indicator for the 25 gallon or 36 gallon tank?

This indicator is for the 25 gallon total tank.

Where on the fuel tank opening do you read from? For? Aft? Middle?

The fuel cap is removed and the fuel gauge is inserted at any location of the filler neck. Generally is read from the Middle.

What diameter tube is this? I have a 1/2 inch inside diameter tube currently.

OD of the stick is 3/8 inch.

Will this work for the PA28R-180 25 gallon fuel tank as well?

Yes, it is for all PA28's with 25 gal tanks.

When I read the fuel level on the fuel stick, am I reading usable fuel or total fuel?
