The AL12-EI60 kit comes with an ultra compact lightweight AIRCRAFT alternator with an exclusive internal crowbar overvoltage protection circuit. The alternator is fully pilot controllable through unique internal wiring. The dual internal fans are designed for aircraft engine rotation for maximum cooling. The AL12-EI60 kit includes the tension arm, mounting brackets, and all required AN hardware.

Also available 70 amp version only 2 additional pounds.

Boss Mount
Attaches to a bracket mounted to the side of the engine

Case Mount
Mounts to 3 bolts that hold case halves together.

On the AL12-EI60 alternator, is the internal voltage regulator adjustable ?

No, the internally regulated alternators are not adjustable.

Does the AL12-E160/B boss mount lightweight alternator come with the voltage regulator? It says on the Plane Power website that it does.

This will have an internal voltage regulator on the alternator itself. There is no external regulator that comes with this.

Photo depicts a wiring harness, is the harness provided with purchase of these Plane Power Lightweight alternators for experimental aircraft?

Yes, the wiring harness is provided with the purchase.

Im confused, does the AL12-EI60B Boss mount alternator, require the Skytec 122 LSA starter? I have the 122-NL Skytec starter on an O-320.

No it does not. You will be fine with the starter currently installed.

What is the weight of the AL12-EI60/B?

The unit itself is approximately 7 lbs.

Does the alternator kit alone come with the mounts? Everything in the picutre, Either boss or case mount.

It comes with everything in the photo on the website. Belt, mounts, harness, etc etc.

Is the wiring harness available separately?

Do I still need a separate voltage regulator with the AL12-EI60/B HARTZELL PLANE POWER ALTERNATOR?

The AL12-EI60/B is internally regulated.

What is the difference between boss and case mount? I have a wide deck O-360.
