Описание

The GI 275 EIS variant can serve as a primary EIS display for piston engine, fuel, electrical and other data. Use dual GI 275 displays to monitor twin-engine aircraft. Graphical display of cylinder head and exhaust gas temperatures allows you to pinpoint the optimal fuel/air mixture for efficient power management.

  • LEAN ASSIST MODE
This function of the Garmin EIS automatically checks the EGT of all cylinders and identifies your preferred rich/lean setting to balance efficiency and performance.
  • INTEGRATED FUEL COMPUTER
In addition to fuel quantity, the Garmin EIS monitors fuel flow and GPS information to estimate how much fuel, range and flight time you have left to go at current settings.
  • EXCEEDANCES ALERTING
With EIS on your GI 275, color-coded pilot alerts/advisories help maintain engine performance and safety. Flashing cues quickly identify out-of-limit exceedances.
  • AUTOMATIC DATA LOGGING
EIS data on the GI 275 electronic display is automatically logged and available for wireless Connext® streaming to your mobile device — with automatic cloud storage in the flyGarmin.com® website.

Вопросы и ответы
Does the GI 275 EIS kit include the GAE 24 and all probes, shunts, transducers, connectors, etc., to complete an installation? Or is it the unit only?

It will include the GI275 the GAE24 and a probe kit with 4 or 6 CHT probes, 4 or 6 CHT probe adapters, 4 or 6 EGT probes, and 1 oil pressure sensor. Any additional probe or function wanted, will need to be purchased separately.

Is GI 275 STCed for any twin? If so which one(s)?

We have posted the AML for the GI 275 in the Documents section. Please download and review there.

Is there a part number for fuel flow option for the GI 275?

Per the installation manual revision 3 acceptable:
FT60 - part # 10-01196
FT90 - part # 10-01224
700900-1 - part # 10-27089
700900-2 - part # 10-27094

What fuel flow probes are recommended for the GI 275?

Per the installation manual revision 3 acceptable:
FT60 - part # 10-01196
FT90 - part # 10-01224
700900-1 - part # 10-27089
700900-2 - part # 10-27094

Does the GI 275 EIS measure Manifold pressure?

Yes, per the installation manual Rev 1 page 21: Manifold pressure can be measured using the GI 275 (Part 11-17865).

My aircraft has AMPS/Volts, Cyl Temp, Oil Temp, Fuel Pressure, and OAT analog gauges and II believe I need to replace all these in order to be legal for flight. The only item that the GI 275 seems to be missing is Fuel Pressure. Is this an option that can be added and displayed on the main screen at all times?

Yes, fuel pressure can be added to this. There are a number of approved sensors per the installation manual.

Will the GI 275 EIS work with capacitance probes instead of floats for measuring fuel levels?

This uses resistive floats or digital ones such as the CIES line of senders.

Does the GI-275 show Total Tach Time? or only Engine Run time for that flight?

Based on the following, it does both. A start-up screen displays flight hours and engine hours, along with the Fuel Remaining Button. Flight hours are metered when airborne; if the MFI is not able to assess the air/ground state, flight hours are metered when the engine RPM exceeds 1,250 RPM. Engine hours are metered any time engine oil pressure exceeds 5 psi.

Would it be possible to have the install manual posted so that we can find the appropriate sensors?

Garmin only provides the install manual post purchase. Once the order is placed, we can email the PDF.

Can the GI-275 EIS use the GAD 13 as a OAT source on the canbus from an existing G5 install or does the GI-275 require a OAT probe in addition to the G5/GAD 13 probe?

Per the installation manual it will need its own probe.

Does the GI-275 support discreet inputs like the G3X/GEA24? For example landing gear up or down switches.

Per the installation manual it can connect to the GEA24 for discrete inputs. However, none relate to landing gear.

Does the GI-275 work with 4 fuel tanks?

The unit allows for two main tanks and two aux tanks. Per the installation manual some wires may need to be spliced.
