Описание

The Gill Electric Company was founded by Mr. Lawrence Gill in 1920, in Redlands, California, where the factory remains today. At that time, Gill Electric manufactured lead-acid batteries for the automotive industry. During the war years, Gill manufactured batteries for military ground vehicles and aircraft; some of these batteries are still in production today. Gill Electric improved the drycharged process which provides a fresh charged product when the electrolyte is added. Gill has become the OEM "original equipment battery" for Raytheon, Cessna, LearJet, Mooney, Piper, Ayres, Airtractor, Maule, Scheizer and others in the aviation industry and Gill continues to be the industry's choice for quality battery products.

When ordering the Gill G-243, we have an option for with acid or without acid. I do not have any acid, so do i need to order the battery with acid?

Yes, if you do not already have the electrolyte, we recommend buying the "With Acid" version since it will be shipped with the required amount of acid to use the battery.

I need to replace my old g243s battery. I only see a g243 in your ad. What is the difference?

The difference between the G-243S and the G-243 is that the 243S was a sealed battery and the 243 is a wet battery that you will need to pour the electrolyte into. The G-243S was replaced with the Gill 7243-14 LT battery. See our Part # 11-13534 to order this battery.

If I buy the Gill G-243 battery without acid, will it be shipped overseas as dangerous goods?

No, the battery without the acid is not considered dangerous goods for shipping.
