Re PLANE POWER LIGHTWEIGHT ALTERNATOR BRACKET 10-1012A: Could you please measure from the engine mount hole to the start of the bend/slot in the arm?

Its 6" from the egde of the engine mount hole to the edge of slot.

What is the difference between this 10-1012A and the 10-1012 bracket?

The 10-1012a is used in kits with a Ford style alternator, the 10-1012 is used with the other alternators.
