The panel cut out is 6.25 x 2.62 if you install the rack from the back of the panel. The face plate is 6.25 x 2.64. If you must install the rack from the front of the panel, the cut out must be 6.32 x 2.69.

What is the significance of USA in the product title? Will this unit work in Australia?

This product ships with a database covering the united states. It will work in Australia but, the navigation databases will need to be loaded for your region.
