Open Center Channel (Part Number 05-01500): Can you please confirm that this item is in fact a 'Y' shaped rubber channel? The ordering page is confusing with its mention of #4 and #7 which seem to refer to the D shaped 90 degree tube.
Part number 05-01500 is a Y shaped rubber channel. 05-01700 is the D shaped material.
Can you recommend a sealant to use with this channel for sealing to a windshield and to painted aluminum surface?
You can use some of the 3M Weatherstrip Adhesive P/N# 09-27200 or the Fast Tack Trim Adhesive would for you as well P/N# 09-27210.
