The size of both the factory built and experimental ID tags is 1" X 3". What is the guage (thickness) of Stainless Steel used for the nameplate? This is made of Aluminum and not Stainless Steel. The thickness would be .025". Is this ID Plate already adhesive-backed, or must I use my own adhesive to attach it? These do have a strong adhesive back, but an end user could drill the corners and rivet it on if they like.
