PTS-202 is a biodegradable peroxide based paint remover that is intended to remove the most resilient coatings from metal and composite surfaces. This is a stable paint remover that will not corrode the metal. PTS-202 works by breaking through the film of the paint and lifting the paint off in sheets instead of turning the paint to sludge. This remover is easy and safe to use as well as clean up.

PTS-202 removes Urethanes, Epoxies and most other high performance finishes.

I'm trying to restore aluminum boat, does the PTI PTS-202 Urethane & Epoxy Remover do any damage to the aluminum?Thank you.

Per Vendor: This should not do any damage to aluminum. We have not heard of any issues happening with this product and aluminum but we advise to test this out on a small piece of aluminum first.

Is this product acidic based? Will it cause hydrogen embrittlement?

No it is not acidic based. It will not.

Magnesium control surface strip. Ok to use?

Yes it can with no problem. Just make sure you do not let it sit on the surface after it has done its job. Once the paint lifts off, wipe and rinse immediately.
