It is a high quality, long lasting, modern alternative to standard incandescent post lights. They offer significant technological upgrades over existing products. Are these post lights dimmable? If so, do they work with standard rheostats or do they need a different dimmer?

Per the manufacturer, the 70844 series assemblies are not dimmable and they would require a pulse width module in order to dim them. A rheostat would not work as the power consumption rates on the LED are not linear like in a halogen bulb so they would just shut off at a certain point.
