Does this (part # 10-02083) have a dimming capability? I am interested in dimming the brightness of the EL wire's light.

Yes, this unit does have dimming capability. However, part # 6002 (UMA DIMMER POT 1K OHMS, 5W) must be purchased as well. With the dimming switch 6002, part # 10-02083 does have dimming capabilities. We have added 6002 to the "Accessories" tab for convenience.

Per the manufacturer, a PWM-type dimmer is not used. The Dimmer Potentiometer used would be UMA# 1G01 1K 5W.
