The Electronic Position and Taillight with Anti-collision light (EPTA-LSA) is a highly innovative product which contributes to safer airspace through higher visibility. The newly developed “Intelligent Synchronization” schedules the Light pulsations so that there is no overlapping of the individual lighting functions. This scheduling of pulsations Reduces required battery and generator current requirements as if only one light was on at any given moment.

This new LED technology allows an incredibly vivid, red and green light with only approximately 10% of the input power, when compared with conventional navigation lights. The casting in a high-optical plastic makes the EPL absolutely impervious to water, vibrations and other environmental influence. The efficiency of the output is much higher, than with conventional electric light bulbs.

The heat production of the EPL is low and is monitored and controlled electronically. Considerations, during installation, should be given to the light‘s need for airflow. Any cover for a recessed installation must allow some cooling airflow.

Вопросы и ответы
There is no place to choose red, green or white. Is the color selectable on the device its self?

These come as a pair. One is green, the other is red. The white is a strobe that is on each light. There is also a constant white light on the back of each light which is your tail position. So on one light, you will have constant green, flashing white, and constant white. And on the other, you will have constant red, flashing white, and constant white.

Is this the price for each light or each pair of lights?

They come as a pair, one red and one green.

Hello: I see you answered a questions stipulating the price is for a pair They come as a pair, one red one green but in the price it says ea which I believe means each, what is true? Also are they FAA certify?

They are sold as a pair, we should maybe change that on the website. They are not certified.

Is a separate tail light necessary with this application, or is this satisfy FAA for tail light?

Per the manufacturer: if the back of the light is visible from the rear of the aircraft then they would not need a tail light.
