Описание

This precision compact unit mounts easily on top or below fuselage, and directly replaces rotating beacons. It features a high-intensity Xenon arc lamp, a high-efficiency push pull inverter circuit for stable flash voltage and a flame-resistant military circuit board assembly. The lamp is readily replaceable without removing the unit from the aircraft, and the unit weighs only 1lb. 4oz. the flight strobe FS-4400 is visible for over 50 miles at night, in haze, smog or bright sunlight and is manufactured using the highest quality components for maximum reliability and service life. Amp draw 3 Amp. (14V) & 1.5 Amp (28V). STC'D for Cessna 180. FAA form 337 for field approval is required for installation of other certified aircraft. Order adapter separately.

Does the fs-4400-14v come with a lens? If so, what color is it?

The FS 4400 comes stock with a clear lens only. Red/White or Red lens replacements or only available seperately.

What kind of flash rate does this strobe have? Is it on and off or does it pulsate some like a comet strobe?

FS-4400 FLIGHT STROBE flashes on/off. We set the flash rate at about 50/minute.

Reference the Universal Flight strobe FS 4400, what is the mounting case diameter?

The mounting case for the FS 4400 has a diameter of 3.75"

Does the FS 4400 Strobe (Part # ) include a new bulb?

Yes, the bulb is included with the FS 4400.

Does the FS-4400 strobe come with a mounting bracket? I have a 3.75 inch hole in the top of my Vertical Stabilizer with 4 holes in it.

No, there is no mounting bracket included. An adapter must be purchased separately for a belly installation, it can be found under part # 11-06500. We have added the PDF of the installation instructions and the STC to the Documents tab of this web page for your review.

Can you show the bottom of the strobe light and the wires going out of the bottom end of the FS 4400 strobe?

We have added the photo of the bottom of the unit to show the wire.

Does this FS 4400 unit need a power box or is it self contained what is the voltage recommendation out put on the light. 12 to 14 volts?

It is self contained. Its for a 14volt system which is basically the same as a 12volt. The system usually operates at around 12volts but can peak/spike up to 14volts so it is referred to as 14v system.

What are the physical dimensions of the FS 4400 strobe? I am looking for a replacement for my grimes 30-0437-1 strobe unit.

Is it a direct replacement for 66â€™ c-182 tail beacon/strobe?

Yes, this should fit that aircraft. Form 337 field approval will be required.

Will this work as a replacement for the Cessna 30-0437-100 fuselage strobe? It was installed in 1972, and it recently died. Time to replace that strobe!

The manufacturer does not have a cross reference to that Cessna number.
