Regarding the Air Maze Filter 08-01542: Can it be cleaned and if so, can it be re-oiled??

Yes, the filter can be cleaned with solvent and re-oiled.

Is there a preferred oil to use for re-oiling these Air Maze oil filters?

Use oil by dipping in Grade 1 or Grade 2 of MIL-L-21260. This will be stated on the instructions of the product.

Does this new filter assembly (part # 08-01542) come with a gasket for the carb attachment?

No, this would not come with a gasket. This would come exactly as shown in the display picture.

Can it be cleaned and oiled using the K&N filter care service kit 99-5050 (or more specifically oiled with the K&N oil)?

The vendor recommends a MIL-L-21260 oil, like LPS 2 or Marvel oil.
