Delco overhauled Generators

Delco Generators are overhauled using only FAA approved components. In stock or have the capability to overhaul almost every 12 or 24 volt Declo-Remy Aircraft Generator. Each unit is tested to manufacturer's original operating specs before it leaves our facility.

Shipments will include domestic 8130 form.

Attention: Should a core unit not be available in stock with factory; at time of order customer must ship in core to be overhauled.

Do I need to send in a core if I order an overhauled Delco generator?

Yes, a core charge will be added to your cart during check out. Once a good core is returned to us, we will refund the core charge.

What is core charge for a 1101877 (07-00080) generator?

Once you add the item to your cart, it will also add the current core charge.

Does the 1101898 generator 12v 35a gear include the drive gear and coupling?

No, this will not come with the drivegear and coupling assembly.

Does model # 1101912, belt driven generator, come with the pulley?

No, the pulley is not included but can be special ordered and installed on the unit when purchased.

Does the generator come with a new gasket to mount to the back of the engine?

They do not come with the gasket.

How long do you have to send core in?

The core must be returned within 30 days of receipt of the unit.

What is the weight of a 35 amp Delco generator vs a 12 amp model (e.g., 1101877 vs.1101876)?

The 1101876 weighs right at 10 lb. The 1101877 weighs approx. 13.8 lb.

Those two part numbers are for completely different engines, not just different output.

Do these Delco generators need to be flashed or polarized?

None of the generators should need to be polarized before use. They are bench tested just prior to packaging, and should be ready to go.
