Does the Flight Data G-Meter GT-50 come with everything needed to install (temperature probe)?

Per the supplier: The customer will need two things: 1) OAT probe part # 10-03694. 2) Extension wire between the probe and the instrument. We recommend 22 or 24 gauge single conductor shielded wire for this purpose.

Does the GT-50 clock have to be set each flight or is there an internal battery to keep clock/time running with 12VAC power off?

The Flight Data GT-50 would also be connected to the hot battery bus in order to keep the clock running. It does not have an internal battery.

What is the depth of the Flight Data GT-50 G-Metere behind the panel?

The depth of the GT-50 is 0.67".

Is the Flight Data GT-50 G-Meter FAA Approved and supplied with approval documentation?

The GT-50 is FAA Approved and may be installed in certificated non-transport aircraft as a minor alteration and does not require an STC or TSO for the clock feature. Volts and OAT are not a primary replacement and you will need to keep your primary gauges. The FAA approval letter for the clock can be found on the overview page.

If I do not need a second OAT on the Flight Data G-Meter GT-150, can that installation be skipped without affecting the overall functionality of the unit? In other words, is OAT required for the G-Meter to work for example?

No, the OAT probe is not required for the G-Meter to be operational.

Can the Flight Data G Meter be configured to display both current G and greatest value flown?

This unit will Instantaneous Display to +12/-10 G and records/saves the minimum and maximum recorded values

Is the Flight Data G-Meter, Part # 10-03691, a clock or a G-meter? Part of your description says it is a clock and part of the description says it is a G meter.

The GT-50 is a six function unit. It functions as a voltmeter, G meter, clock, timer/stopwatch, and accelerometer.

What are temperature limits for this Flight Data G-Meter GT-50?

-30 F to +122 F

With regards to wiring power for the light, can you not just wire it directly to the 12v used to power the clock?

Per the manual the yellow wire for the light should be connected to your instrument power source so it is powered when the master switch is turned on. See manual for rest color coded wiring. It is posted to the Documents tab.

2 questions: - Is the Flight Data G-Meter GT-50 instrument case threaded for mounting or do I need to consider something like the EZ Nut ring or screws & lock nuts? - Is any mounting hardware included?

According to the manual supplied in the Documents tab, you will need 6-32 screws. They do not specify any other hardware needed in the manual.

Does the Flight Data G-Meter GT-50 clock have a count down timer, or an alarm set at intervals to time fuel tanks?

Per the manual, this has an automatic flight timer that will go from one minute to nine hours and fifty-nine minutes.

Does the count down timer have an audible alarm when set time is reached?

No. This does not have an audible alarm.

What is the current draw on both the red and yellow wires?

Power Consumption: at 14V - Backlight on: 0.025 Amps, Backlight Off: 0.0008 Amps

Does the timer function show seconds? (In addition to hh.mm?)

Yes, the timer/stopwatch feature does show seconds.

Can G meter record 24 hours of the records? We need to check the records at end of the day

Per the manufacturer, it will keep the record until the user removes it.

When the GT-50 unit records/saves the minimum and maximum recorded values, will there be a time stamp on the records so we can analyse/check when (which fight) the plane has exceeded the planes SOP limits?

Per the manufacturer, they do not have a time stamp.
