The model MM-111 probe (type K) is applicable to any type of aircraft exhaust gas temperature indicator that uses type K thermocouple as its electrical source. The MM-111 is designed to universally replace all chromel alumel (type K) thermocouples regardless of manufacturer or design. The Universal MM-111 probe is FAA/PMA approved.

Please note, all thermocouples/probes regardless of manufacturer are identified by the color of their terminal lead wires. A type K thermocouple/probe will have one wire color coded red, and the other yellow.

Does this include clamp for a 3.5 exhaust tube?

Yes, the EGT probe MM-111 (11-01022) includes a clamp, however this clamp is only 1.56"-2.5". A 3.5" clamp can be ordered separately, please contact sales for a quote.

Are these EGT probes grounded? Apparently JPI uses grouded probes. So the probes to their EDMs need to have grounded probes.

Since this is a grounded probe, is it incompatible with EI systems?

We cannot recommend any other probe other than an EI probe for an EI system/unit.

What is the heat range of this probe MM-111?

This probe reads temps up to 1500*F.

What is the impedance of this probe? 3.03 ohms?

Per the Manufacturer: The probe has 1.8 to 2.0 ohms.
