SLIDEDOWN AIRCRAFT TIE DOWN

There is a fast and easy way to secure your aircraft. Developed by a pilot for pilots, the SlideDown is an exceptional new product for securing your aircraft to the ground anchors. No more complicated knots, just attach one end to the ground anchor and the other to your aircraft, pull down on the slide and your done! Its that simple.

SlideDowns are sold as a set of three, one for each wing and a tail along with a nylon carry bag to stow your set. The 7/16 kernmantle braided rope is a balanced construction consisting of a continuous filament polyester cover braided over a unidirectional nylon core and is used primarily in the safety and rescue industry. The precision drilled powder coated slide, made from 6061aircraft grade aluminum, allows for easy sliding and a tight hold. The vinyl coated hooks prevent any scratching to the aircraft contact points.

Made as a one size fits most aircraft, the SlideDown is easily adjustable to reach most anchor points. Maximum reach on the wings are approximately 100 inches and the maximum reach on the tail is approximately 54 inches. The SlideDown can be shortened to accommodate just about any length.
