The Model AS extinguisher system is a light weight extinguisher for aircraft.

The compact discharge head design means a smaller overall size. Another feature not found on other extinguishers is the "swivel" head design. The discharge head can be rotated to align the pull cable, which provides more installation flexibility.

The aluminum cylinder is U.S. DOT approved and is capable of being refilled by Safecraft Inc. The discharge head is machined from billet aluminum and is pull cable actuated. The extinguisher will accept two separate discharge lines, which allows installation flexibility currently not found in competing fire extinguishers.

The Model AS extinguishers are available in 3 and 5 pound Halon capacity. Both sizes come standard in a white powder coated cylinder with red aluminum anodized head.

The Model As is designed to be mounted in the "head down" attitude, just like the extinguishers used on commercial and military aircraft, this assures that all of the extinguishing agent is discharged in the shortest period of time.

All of our Halon is recycled to the original military specification and confirmed by an independent laboratory. This assures you that each extinguisher is of the highest quality with outstanding dependability.
