Simple design for push-pull operation with low friction characteristics. Has .050" dia. stainless steel wire core in flexible metal casing with polyethylene liner. May be shortened as required. Max. travel 3-1/2". Features a black powder coated aluminum T-handle.

The approximate dimensions for the knob on this control are: 2-1/4" Length x 1/2" Width x 1-1/8" protrusion from dash.

What is the cable diameter for the T-handle glide free control p/n: A-1770?

The wire's diameter is .05" O.D. The casing is 3/16".

Can the handle be removed? If so is how is it attached to the cable? 1/4-28 thread?

The T-Handle is threaded and put on with loctite. The loctite can be "broken" with a torch but that may possibly damage the T-Handle and the control.

Please specify the size and pitch of the thread on the end fitting located behind the T handle for the A-1770 control.

The thread is 3/8-24 so you will need to drill a 3/8" hole in your panel to fit this through.
