A Phenolic-cure Nigen Cotton Webbing used on engine cowls to protect where overlapping the airframe. This item is not affected by cold, heat or most solvent chemicals due to the coating treatment we apply to this product. Brown Aircraft Supply is the only Manufacturer that treats their material with this protective coating.

Regarding cowl chafe seal: What do you use as adhesive? Is this available with adhesive on it?

It does not have adhesive on it. A good quality contact cement, like Pliobond, is commonly used to attach anti-chafe tape.
