P/N 66X2- I have an A65 with a brass nut that holds the 1/8 inch primer tube on the carb. The primer tube has a soldered fitting to create a seal and strengthen the tube where it enters the fitting. Would 66X2 replace the existing system?

What you are describing is a primer fitting, but the 66X2 is not a primer fitting. It connects an 1/8OD tube to male 1/8NPT threads. We do not offer any primer nozzles with male 1/8" NPT, so unless your primer nozzle has 1/8NPT this will not work as a replacement.
