The gauge are not temperature compensated; changes in ambient temperature will affect the readings. Unlike our MICRO-1000 gauges, It will require shock mounting. All gauges come with a one-year warranty which covers any malfunction. Prices include probes with 4-ft. leads. Gauge leads may be extended with 18-gauge wire.

Do these gauges require a power supply? 12V?

Yes, the Falcon dual CHT gauge, part numbers 10-01417 and 10-01415 both require 12V power from the bus.

Is this instrument lighted? What type sensor is required and is it supplied? What does shock mount mean?

No, this gauge is not lighted. The senders are not included, see part number 10-02288 for an 18mm ring sender. Consult with your maintenance manual for the correct size senders for your engine. Shock mounting can be accomplished by adding part number 15-05498.

The picture shows a Fahrenheit scale and the description indicates that it is a Celsius gauge.....

The photo is representative of the gauge but the one listed on this page is celsius. The Fahrenheit version of this gauge is part number 10-00486.
