Will this work with a Kawasaki 440 2 cylinder

Unfortunately, we do not have any data on the Kawasaki engine. This tachometer is made for the point ignition system and will only work for this type of system.

ill this work if directly connected to the P-Lead?

Per the manufacturer, you will need to hook it up to the sender instead of just the p-lead.
