RAPCO DRY AIR VACUUM / PRESSURE PUMPS
Rapco dry air pumps are FAA approved dry air pumps offer quality and performance at a great price. They are available in new or overhauled models. Committed to quality and customer satisfaction, Rapco offers many improved design features and an exceptional warranty.

OVERHAULED RAPCO PUMPS are FAA approved and come with an FAA form 8130-3. Mounting gasket included. The warranty period for the 200 series is two years / 1000 hours. The warranty period for the 240 and the 400 series is one year / 400 hours, which ever comes first. Core charge applies.

Add Core Charge On Overhauled Pumps to purchase price: $100.00 for the 200 and 240 Series and $100.00 for the 400 Series. Return Cores must be Rapco or Airborne aluminum cores; no cast iron cores accepted. Cores must be returned in repairable condition to receive full credit. Return cores via UPS and reference our Invoice No.

Mounting flange gasket is included.

Need a new vacuum pump. Looking at the Rapco overhauled dry pump 211cc. Existing pump is a Sigma Tek dry pump. Will it work as core replacement? Or does the core have to be Rapco?

Per Rapco: This core is not acceptable. We only take Rapco and Airborne cores.

Does an overhauled Rapco 211C come with a replacement shear coupling or must that be ordered separate?

Yes, this overhauled pump will come with a shear coupling.

How long does the purchaser have for returning a vacuum pump core? For example, suppose it took six weeks after purchase before the replacement pump could be installed and the core returned?

Yes, there is no specific time table for core return. 6 weeks would be no problem.

If purchasing the Rapco 216cw overhauled pump, will a 215cc core be accepted?

Yes, per Rapco, this is accepted.

I like to purchasing a overhauled Rapco 215cc and I have a Rapco 242cw. Is the 242cw will an acceptable core?

Yes, 200 series pumps with aluminum bodies are acceptable cores.

Can you please confirm that these Rapco Overhauled pumps can be delivered with dual FAA/EASA release documents? Dual release is mandatory according to EASA rules on overhauled components.

Yes, they do have dual releases and it is stated in Block 12 of the 8130.

Do you provide a pre-paid UPS return shipping label for the core is the customer fully responsible for the return shipping and label? Also, is UPS the only return shipping method you accept or could you also accept FedEx shipments?

No, the customer is responsible for all shipping charges. We can accept any delivery method at our building including UPS< Fedex, USPS, etc.

Is the 215CC a suitable replacement for the 211CC? If it any better than the 211CC?

The 215CC is the direct replacement for the 211CC vacuum pump. It is just a new model number. The pump itself is the same.

Just pulled the 212CW due to sheared coupling. Need a replacement. The discharge end says NO Overhaul.. Much of the labeling is unreadable but the Parker Airborne SN is 2AP 2. Is this core returnable? thx

Yes the core is returnable as an exchange. They post that on the pump so that people will not try to overhaul the pump themselves.

Yes, you are correct on both of your questions. You can use 200CC pump as a core for overhauled 211CC as 215CC is only currently offered as new. 211CC and 215CC would replace the 200CC pump.

Yes, these overhauled pumps come with the 8130 form which is good for export or domestic.

Does the overhauled Rapco 215CC pump have an inspection port like the new RAP215CC pumps have?

No, they do not have the inspection port. This is only on the RAP215CC new pumps.

Is there any warranty on Rapco 212CWs overhauled?

Yes, it is 2 years / 1000 hours from date of install, or 4 years from date of manufacture. Per Rapco, to make sure the warranty is not voided, customer needs to make sure the seals are good periodically. If they need to be replaced, use 08-19956 for Lycoming and 08-25102 for Continentals.

Is the shaft that goes into the engine drive splines required for core?

No the splined drive shaft is replaced when they rebuild the cores, you do not need to send it in.
