Standard - 45° Angle for 1-1/4 or 1-1/2 flat spring.
P/N 06-06131

Optionable - 20° Angle for 1-1/4 or 1-1/2 flat spring.
P/N 06-06133

10° Angle for 5/8 round spring.
P/N 06-06135

Locks in steerable mode when aircraft is moved forward. Releases to full swivel when pushed sideways or backwards, or when maneuvering on the ground using brakes. Tire is solid soft rubber, with sealed ball bearings.

Note: Requires spacer P/N 06-13609 for use with 1-1/4" spring.

What is the weight of this unit?

Regarding part number 06-06133 (20 degree spring angle), the total weight is 5 lbs, 3.4 oz.

How many leafs in the tailspring is this unit designed for? My tailspring is 1.25 wide.

This product is designed for a flat tail spring that is 1-1/2" or 1-1/4" wide. The amount of leafs would be determined by the designer or manufacturer of the aircraft.

I have just fitted this tailwheel. What are the grease requirements in terms of temperature or grade?

Per the vendor: The grease fitting on the aluminum block where the assembly swivels back and forth, can be lubricated with general purpose grease, approx every 25 hours. The grease fitting on the hub does not require any maintenance due to the sealed ball bearings.

Does this homebuilders tailwheel, part # 06-06131, come with a wheel attached?

Yes, this is complete with the wheel.

What is the gross weight rating?

This is for homebuilt aircraft and not rated. Although the Pitts Model 12 has been using the 6" double fork for over 18 years. Their gross weight is around 2200lbs.
