Описание

The ACS Twist-To-Lock Flush Fuel Cap Assy is machined from 6061 aluminum billet. The cap is available in vented and non-vented configurations. The sealing element for the cap is an easily replaceable viton "O" ring. The bottom of the cap is secured to the bottom of the ring by a safety chain to prevent loss of the cap during flight. The mounting ring may be welded, riveted, bolted or molded onto the tank.

Is the mounting ring stainless steel? Is the mounting ring available drilled with mounting holes and if so, is a matching gasket available?

The unit is made of aluminum, both cap and ring, and not available with mounting holes or gasket.

Can you verify the outer diameter of the ring for whole drilling and mounting purposes?

Measuring the bottom, inner ring on the flange, you would need to cut a hole 3.410" in diameter.

Is there an integral p-trap or any mechanism to stop water from running back thru the vent into the tanks when parked in the rain or when washed? Any thoughts on suitability for light aerobatic use?

No. The vent is only plugged by a stainless steel ball bearing so it would not stop water completely and could possibly lead for aerobatic use.

Does this ACS flush cap 10600 have any FAA approval?

No, this is not FAA Approved.
