Could you tell me the distance across the locking part of this vented fuel cap? Also, the I.D. of the outer edge of the cap?

The outside diameter across the wide locking portion is approximately 1-13/16". The ID of the cap is approximately 2-3/8".

Regarding the vented fuel caps part # 05-03459: Is the cost for a pair of caps or is this the cost of just one?
