Homebuilders Special!

All-metal gascolator with S.S. screen, 1-7/8" dia. cadmium plated steel bowl w/quick drain. Top is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. Top has 1/4" pipe ports for 3/8" fuel line and one 1/8" pipe port for primer fitting. Wt: 8 oz. May be used with aviation and / or auto fuel. Screen size is 122 microns. Replacement gasket for auto fuel is p/n 06-00441.

Made in USA

Note: for use with aviation fuel and standard auto fuel. Do not use with fuel injectors because it cannot stand up to the pressure.

What micron screen comes standard when purchasing this gascolator?

The screen size for this ACS Gascolator is 122 microns.

Can this ACS Gascolator be used with the Lycoming / Bendix Fuel Injection system? The fuel pressure would be 25 to 30 PSI....wondering if the higher fuel pressure is an issue. Thank you!

This particular gascolator is not recommended for use with fuel injected systems. However, ACS does manufacture part number 05-04248 (ACS HIGH PRESSURE GASCOLATOR). The high pressure gascolator is rated for use in systems up to 50 PSI.

Dimensions from previous Q&A says diameter at in/out is 1 and diameter of bowl is 1.875. It looks like diameter at in/out is bigger than diameter of bowl from photograph. Is 1.875 the height of bowl not diameter? Please clarify. .8 for top port does not seem to make sense either.

The top of the bowl has a flange that is 2.125" in diamter, the body of the bowl is 1.875". 1" at in/out refers to the protruding area at the top of the head.
