Вопросы и ответы
Will this E-A-R Composite Damping Foam be a suitable insulator for a composite experimental aircraft? I'm between this and the super sound proofing. Thanks, John

Yes, both are good quality products and would work well with composites.

It is important to distinguish between material to dampen vibrations versus material to absorb sound waves. Your answer to the question comparing this to Super Sound proofing is misleading. This product is used to dampen vibration while the super sound proofing is for absorbing sound. Both are needed especially in aluminum airplanes where the aluminum sheet might vibrate.

Thank you for your write in correction. We appreciate the feedback.

What material do you recommend for noise dampened on the firewall as well fireproof. Experimental application

This would be a great product for the cabin side of the firewall.
