These new manufacture seat belt and shoulder harness combination sets are FAASTC- PMA approved for installation in the certificated aircraft listed in the chart below. This line of seat belts and shoulder harnesses are of the highest quality and each set includes one belt, one harness, attaching hardware, and installation instructions. The seat belts feature a 3 bar slide and shoulder harnesses are "Y" style. These sets are available in a full array of colors to suit the interior of your aircraft. Cessna sets meet requirements of Cessna service bulletin SEB 92-28.

Note:
• PN 13-00917-6 is for a PA-28 without ceiling vent system. For ceiling vent system, modification may be needed to the existing system for the seat belt/shoulder harness installation. Vent modification Drawings/Instructions unavailable.

• Piper PA-28 set is furnished as 2 belts/2 harnesses. All others are 1 belt/1 harness.

• For Front Seat Only

For the PA28 with the overhead vent. Will the set come with STC installation paperwork to install in an aircraft that does not have existing shoulder harnesses?

Per the supplier: These sets are all shipped with the STC and installation paperwork. However, if the customer's aircraft has the overhead air vents, they will not be able to install these belts. The problem is the vents are right where the harness would attach, so the install would required modifications which are not covered under the STC.

Does the manufacturer give an estimated installation time?

This will depend on your experience as a mechanic / technician. An experienced mechanic would be estimated at 9-10 hours of installation time.

Are these the internal reel type of harness?

No, they are not inertial reel harnesses.

The pricing for a PA-28 (tan) says $495/pr. Does pr mean pair as in both pilot and passenger belt set? In other words, to install this on both pilots and passengers side, will I need to purchase 1 or 2?

Yes, this part # 13-00917-6 is priced and sold a pair for the right and left sides. Purchase quantity 1 for pilot / co-pilot.

Are these seat belt kits STC'd?

Yes. The kits which have the belts and harness are STC'd, but if the belts are purchased separately they will not include an STC.

Do the shoulder straps come with this set? If so, do they come with the inertia reel or do they install into the original reel?

These come with a Y style harness but are not useable with the inertia style reels.

I have a PA20 and am looking to put in a lap and shoulder harness.. for the front seat. Is the 13-00915-5 for a pair ...two seats, or for just one seat?

You would need to order 2 kits as they are for 1 seat each.

Do these belts come with everything needed to install them? If not what else will be needed?

These harnesses do not come with mounting hardware. Mounting hardware required will need to be determined by the installer and ordered separately.

What is the max lap belt length for the PA-18 front set? How many 3 bar slides are included with it?

The lap belt will adjust from 13 to 62 in length. Each lap belt comes with two 3 bar slides. One for each side.
