The H10-13S headset is a stereo version of the H10-13.4 headset, also with a straight cord and dual plugs. The H10-13S headset provides David Clark quality without the hot spots, clamping, or weight discomfort. It features a certified noise reduction rating of 23 dB and weighs only 16.5 oz. It features M-7A noise cancelling electret mic, and low profile volume controls with detent settings.

The Super-Soft, Double-Foam Headpad will improve the comfort and “wearability” of all H10-series headsets. It is wider and more tapered with 60% more surface area in contact with the head to dissipate headset weight. Its unique center “hinge” actually lets the headpad “breathe” for greater comfort. It also eliminates irritation while wearing button-top baseball caps.

The new Comfort-Gel Ear Seals have a patented undercut design and are 26% lighter and allow 30% more interior room for your ears, making for a quieter, more comfortable flight.

Does the David Clark H10-13S headset include ear seals, and mic muff as well as headpad? Also this is fit for a fixed-wing single engine plane, right?

Yes, the headset comes outfitted with ear seals, mic muff, and a headpad. It comes equipped with dual GA plugs commonly found on most fixed wing general aviation aircraft.

What is the difference between this and the non stereo 13.4 set?

The H10-13.4 is mono and the H10-13S is stereo. That is the only difference. The difference between mono and stereo is in the number of channels (signals) used. Mono uses one, stereo uses more than one. In monaural sound one single channel is used. It can be reproduced through several speakers, but all speakers are still reproducing the same copy of the signal. In stereophonic sound more channels are used (typically two). You can use two different channels and make one feed one speaker and the second channel feed a second speaker (which is the most common stereo setup).

Is this David Clark H10-13S compatible with an Icom radio with adapter?

Yes, this headset is equipped with Dual GA plugs, which will work great with the Icom headset adapter.
