Direct Plug In Headset For A14/A6/A22/A24 Handheld Transceivers

Like the Pilot USA 1160I but with ICOM Interface. Fully loaded! This aviation headset eliminates any need to compromise. Everything you want in a headset, comfort, able to be used with a stereo intercom and individual ear volume controls for perfect audio adjustment. The headset is designed to plug directly into the ICOM® A6, A14, and A24 aviation transceivers eliminating any need for extra adapters. It can also be used with the A22 but we suggest the PA-1160AI/S with Straight plug for those models that have the input on the top of the radio. For ease of use, it includes an inline Press-To-Talk (PTT) switch on the comm-cord.

Note: Icom IC-A4 required straight plug connector. This right angle version will not fit.

How do you push to talk? Do you need an accessory? If so, which one?

This headset includes an in-line PTT switch on the cord.

Will this work with the ICOM A16?

Per the manufacturer the A16 is not on the compatible list.

I have a few ic-a24 I bought at a yard sale. Im trying to use them to communicate with my passengers in my UTV. Will these work to do so? Or do I need to get an intercom interface?

This headset plugs directly into the A24 radio.
