The AV-200 ELT antenna is: Whip type, 121.5 and 406 MHz and intended for use with an ELT (Emergency Locator Transmitter) for General Aviation. It is a passive two frequency wire whip, designed for low speed aircraft (up to 250 knots).

Per RAMI: Yes, this will work with the E-01 ELT.

No, use the RAMI AV-300 part number 11-07995 which has all three frequencies.

Can the base of this antenna be painted?

We do not recommend painting any part of the antenna.

Will this RAMI Whip antenna AV-200 work with a Artex ME406 ELT?

No, ELTs are certified as kits with a specific antenna. You unfortunately cannot interchange antennas.

Can the 11-14040 antenna work with a Ameri-King model AK-451?

The AV-200b will physically function with an AK-451, however, it is not on the TSO for that ELT unit.

Will this RAMI AV-200 antenna work with Artex ME 406 ELT?

No, ELT's are certified as kits with specific antennas. Unfortunately you cannot interchange antennas.
