Aeolus-Sense Sensor-Box is a smartphone/tablet EFIS instrument with AHRS in-flight reset recovery in any flight attitude and contains all the necessary sensors needed by EFIS TA for correct and reliable operation. The interface can be any smartphone or tablet, regardless of the native sensors and provides all the necessary data to convert your smartphone/tablet to a full glass cockpit.

Aeolus-Sense Pro is compatible with many navigation applications as Foreflight, SkyDemon, easy VFR etc. and it is fully integrated with Horizon 3d Synthetic Vision and navigation application.

Benefits

Aeolus-Sense connects to any device running Android 4.0/IOS 9.0 or higher wireless via wifi and wired over USB. The user downloads our free app (EFIS TA), from Google Play Store or Apple’s App Store and then connects via wifi or wired via USB to AEOLUS-SENSE. The first sensor box in the avionics market with Android and IOS smartphone/tablet wired USB communication between Aeolus-Sense and EFIS TA application.

Can I use autopilot with the TALOS AVIONICS AEOLUS-SENSE system?

Per the manufacturer, no, it does not have autopilot capability.

Does the efis Aeolus-Sense work on android tablets?

Yes, Aeolus-Sense connects to any smartphone or tablet device running Android 4.0/IOS 9.0 or higher.

Does the Talos Avionics Aeolus-Sense have a panel mounting?

The tablet is not included. The unit is a remote box, so it does not have a panel mount

Can this system be used as the main flight instruments or is it only considered as backup?

This is for experimental aircraft only and is meant as a backup system.

In the aoelus sense app, can I split screen on my tablet i.e running hafl screen with efis and half with navigation app ?

This unit is not a slide-in replacement for the SL-15.
